"Amazingly quaint location views and steps from a subdued river Thames. Convenient location short Uber to either Windsor or King HenryVIII Hampton palace. Straight into London Waterloo station. Mason and Judy thoroughly thoughtful and kind. English family town. Loved our stay"

"The air conditioning was rarely turned on and the room was hot and stuffy. No control of air colnd from the room unit. Order the vegetable soup for 6 pounds. Was watered down freeze dried 'cup-a-soup'. Bloody awful. Was refused a hot steak sandwich at 7.20pm and told by staff not available after 6pm as per the menu. Nowhere on the menu is this stated. (THEN ODERED THE SOUP INSTEAD) Constant noise of thumping feet and furnuture being dragged accross the floor up to 11pm at night from the floor...

"The reception staff are great. The location being in Gatwick is terrific of course, convenient for the airport and trains. The amenities are clean and comfortable however dinner service let the hotel down. No shortage of staff it seemed but totally disorganised the night we were there. Guests were asking for menus, following up on drinks, food and dinners. My husband finally received a dessert he was waiting for only to have another brought to the room long after we left the dining room. ...

"Quiet location. Bar was big but full of TVs with football on all the time. Staff generally friendly. Good airport hotel. Nothing really in walking distance but hotel has everything you need"

"Always love staying here ! The accommodation is beautifully presented and maintained and the staff and food just excellent . Just wish there were steam room and SPA facilities available other than the treatments . Also super convenient for Heathrow without being a run of the mill airport hotel "

"Beautiful building but lack of attention to detail. Upon arrival in spa, went to make a cup of hot tea and there was no sugar or stir sticks or spoons. Wanted to enjoy the hot tub before massage and it was like a barely warm bath plus the jets were spraying up at your face so you couldn’t sit without getting water in the face. Two lockers didn’t work. The massage staff was friendly but it was definitely fluff and buff- not much pressure so that was a disappointment. The main restaurant was fully...

"I was upgraded to a larger room on the ground floor which was lovely and the chap on reception was extremely helpful The only shame was no kitchen at the moment but there is a Sainsbury at the garage right opposite so easy to get some food and he supplied cutlery for me A lovely place to stay while travelling"
