"We got stuck in the area after the ferries were cancelled and lucked into a one night stay here, and now we can’t wait to come back. They were so sweet and helpful receiving unexpected guests. They went out of their way to accommodate us and help us relax. And wow it’s so beautiful. I went birding first thing and there was so many birds. I could see eagles and seals from our room. It is truly stunning, but I still think the staff were my favourite part!"

"Gibson garden hotel is where we usually stay in our trips to Sunshine Coast. Beautiful garden area.. clean rooms, good air conditioning. In our last stay the room had small kitchen which was awesome, also very close to pool and gym. My kids really enjoyed their stay."

"Great location in downtown Gibsons just a block from the marina and sea walk. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Twelve minutes from the ferry terminal. The units have comfortable beds; lots of towels; the basic cooking pans, utensils and silverware for meal prep. There is an elevator, guest laundry and easy parking on site. "We stayed here for our wedding weekend April 17 - 19 2026. Great ocean view rooms up on the upper floor. Friendly staff and front desk workers. Unfortunately the coffee machine wasn’t working in the lobby, but there was Gourmet Girl Cafe a 5 minute walk which was helpful. Clean rooms and beautiful ocean views."

"This place is such a gem! It's clean, tidy, close to the beach, a short drive to amenities, and quiet. I stayed in the romance suite with my six year old in room C (the one at the end) and it was MAGICAL. Beautiful trees, a salmon stream, and trees right outside the window. Beach across the street you can walk to and collect rocks. The room was clean, the jet tub was wonderful, and even the instant coffee was delicious. "We checked in and the tv and wifi did not work staff tried an hour in and out our room then moved us to different room only to have same issues. By 9pm had the issue resolved. Not a great experience."

"Waterfront room balcony with beautiful view of snow covered mountains. Very close to skookumchuck provincial park and one museum. Kitchen has all the necessary things, except oven ( room 202). Mark is very kind person and helpful. It was nice talking to him. If I go there definitely, I will stay here only."
