"Love this property"

"When we arrived to our room we pulled the cover down and the sheets were covered in black curly hairs. Proceeded to go to front desk (10pm) and was told the maid went home so the best they could do was give me clean sheets so I could change the bed myself. Did not offer to come and change and there was two people at the desk. Horrible customer service. Will not ever return."

"Everything went well. The lady up front was very accommodating on arrival. The buffet room was very nice size, but there were no signs posted that we saw, saying you could get an omelette cooked for you. We only noticed this after we’d already gotten our breakfast from the bar. The setup for that was really the only letdown. Clean Hotel and comfortable beds"

"Upkeep is good: everything feels bright and new. Breakfast is better than normal: they provide hard boiled eggs and real “fried egg pancakes”, unlike other places where scrambled eggs are processed egg like “things” with plenty of starch. Sausages and meat paddies were good as well. Staff was helpful. Only complaint: the bathtub drain was half clogged. Other than that, all was very satisfactory."

"The hotel was full when we stayed, but very quiet. Easy to get to and many conveniences down the street. Rooms were clean."

"Location was good. We were not impressed with the hotel. Our bed linens had blood stains on them which was discussing. The chain lock on our door was broken so we only had the bolt to lock us in. The soap dispenser in the bathroom was broken. The shower dispenser did not offer shower soap only shampoo & two conditioners. We could smell cigarette smoke throughout our stay coming from a near by smoker. Ok breakfast but not impressed with the condition of our room."

"We stayed here two years ago and it was amazing. I’m trying to not sound prejudice but the property is under new Indian ownership and has gone downhill severely. All the furniture in the lobby was so stained and dirty you didn’t want to sit in any of the chairs or couches. Lot of burned out lights in the lobby, only one elevator worked. The bar didn’t have any beers on tap like they did before, I ordered a Gin & Tonic and requested a lime as well. The bartender didn’t want to give me one and...

"Dirty guestroom beds, bathrooms and floors, half the machines in arcade room don’t work. Hotel staff said either stay and deal with it cause no housekeeping available or leave without a refund. Pet hairs everywhere and with allergies we couldn’t stay to protect our health. Expedia wouldn’t even fight for a refund so no to them both for me."

"Horribly misleading photos. Once you step past the lobby or look in any direction you can see that everything was dirty, run down, and smelled. There was broken or out of service signs on almost every visible area, doors windows, etc. Our room looked nice but was very dirty. The bathroom was almost unusable. The sinks backed up the tub backed up, there was tubing and bite marks all over the door frame and walls. There was half holes. It was horrendous. The breakfast ran out of everything...

"This hotel is located close to Canton and Akron. Convenient for our stay. So disappointed in the front desk staff. Upon check in she never looked up and just said, "credit card and driver's license". That was it. Handed us the key and pointed to the elevators. This happened three of the four days when we asked the front desk questions. Same person. Room service was iffy. "Breakfast was a joke. Syrup was running everywhere. The waffle maker was covered in batter. The tables were not wiped off. There was no juice one banana and no other fruit. I could go on, but you get the point. Our room was disgusting. It made my anxiety go through the roof. We would’ve left, but it was late at night and there were no other rooms in the hotel. There was dog hair packed in the corners of the bathroom, especially and the room smelled like a dog grooming parlor. That was hair in...

"Shower drain was clogged for my employee who just got done driving for 7 hours. Didn't want to bother staff at that time of night so he stood in 2 inches of backed up water. Nasty!"

"Love this property. You know exactly what you get each time. Price has gone up and the property is aging badly. Too stay at such high rates it’s time to renovate. Leaking bathroom sink, peeling paint, torn and chipped carpet/vinyl and the same dirty breakfast area all need some attention. WiFi doesn’t remain connected during peak hours."
