"The Old Hall hotel is a lovely old building, with all the charm you would expect. On arrival the reception staff were fantastic and helped us with parking arrangements. The room was lovely overlooking the Opera House. It was very hot whilst we were there but the room remained cool. The room facilities were good. I cant review the breakfast as the gas wasnt working in the hotel, and breakfast was served in the sister hotel next door."

"We tried to check in early as we were at a wedding during the day. The receptionist said unfortunately this wasn’t possible despite letting other people to do so and would let us know as soon as a room was available (no one contacted us at all). They offered to hold our bags but we later just found it unattended in the reception area. "Stayed 1 night whilst visiting a local theatre. Perfect location to walk to restaurants and bars and the theatres. Parking across the road is £9 a night. Modern, bright clean hotel, typical Hilton style. Room clean Good shower in bathroom with toiletries Large comfortable bed Good aircon We slept very well Would use again if in the area"

"A little gem that we will definitely return to. Rooms were finished to a high quality - not just style over substance. Beds comfy, shower amazing, hot tub fab and one of the best nights sleep for a while. Paired with excellent food and service at Bowling Green Inn, would highly recommend 👍"

"Not so clean. Staff ok but one over charged me 3 quids for food, drinks, no reason given. Very noisy housekeeping, they bang doors, chat and play loud music outside your rooms. "

"We stayed in a beautiful hive which was nicely done and the hotel itself was beautiful. We were disappointed not to have a bath or to be able to use any the sauna facilities and that whole building seemed to be in the midst of renovation. We were also surprised that breakfast wasn’t included and that when we ordered English breakfasts we didn’t get any toast and when we asked for some were then charged £2.50 per slice. I feedback when we departed that I was not impressed but nothing was done...

"This is an marvellous property. Our room is spacious and clean. The breakfast is very good and has many choices. There’s a plenty of places with free parking."
