"Stayed for one night as was attending a meeting with a late finish.
Check-in was simple and professional.
The room was clean and well-maintained.
The bathroom had a walk-in shower with lovely toiletries supplied.
More than enough coat hangers and wardrobe space for my needs.
But it’s the staff that I really wanted to talk about….
As I said, I was attending a meeting at the hotel which didn’t finish until well after 9pm. I hadn’t been able to have anything to eat for prior to the meeting, so...

"Breakfast was good; however, they can’t cope when it’s busy. They are lacking in the areas of cleanliness and customer service. When we initially checked in, we were given a dirty room with dirty bedding and dirty mirrors. You could see that no one had bothered to check or even clean the room. "Breakfast was of a good standard with plenty of choices. Food could run out and delays were experienced whilst waiting for it to be resupplied. They could have been more proactive in that area. "

"I recently stayed here for a training event. The facilities were generally ok and the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food was good. Some parts of the property do feel a bit dated and could benefit from some refurbishment.
The main issue I had was with the shower in my room, which had no cold water at all and was boiling hot. Unfortunately, I only discovered this in the morning, so there wasn’t really time for it to be fixed before I had to leave."
