"Beautiful property. Well maintained. Appreciated the nature walk and yoga sessions. The thermal pool was great. However very poor value for money. The Sri Lankan food was bland and the food left much to be desired for. Although the food was well presented the flavours were lacking. No menus options, very limited juice options, most things are chargeable. Nothing was really offered. Staff responded to requests but had to ask for everything. Was disappointed. "

Das Hotel ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen, überall sind Schimmelflecken auf der Tapete zu finden bzw. ist diese an diversen Stellen bereits kaputt. Der Fußboden ist abgenutzt und in den Ecken ist Schimmel zu finden. Die Fenster am Gang wurden gefühlt seit monaten nicht mehr geputzt und auch die Abflüsse weißen Schimmelspuren auf. "This is a truly stunning hotel in a beautiful location. The staff look after you impeccably throughout your stay and are clearly very proud of their workplace and Sri Lanka itself. "

"The hotel is nice but for a hilton could be better. We stayed here at the start and end of our holiday . It was a nice place to start but on our return we had a very smelly room which stank of stale smoke even though it was a non smoking room. We asked it to be fixed which it was not. The reception stuff were not as friendly compared to staff at other hotels in sri lanka and generally sri lankan people."

"Rooms are small, half the size of other 5 star hotels. Bathroom is tiny, hardly any space. Hot water tends to run out after 10 minutes. Very unusual for a hotel of this reputation. Expedia also promised a $50 voucher for VIP access when I purchased the room. The hotel said this was not communicated to them, and Expedia said they cannot honour after I arrived at the hotel. "Alle im hotel waren super nett, lage das hotels is fantastisch"

"What I liked the most was the view from room. The hotel needs a good renovation. Loved the decore in the room. Needs to be more generous with the towels etc. always some towel is missing. As for the food it was good but all the sambals need attention. The chefs need to learn how to make a good lunumiris, seen sambal etc. Wattalappan fantastic. Oat porridge not ok. Fruit selection ok but no mango. How about some original sinhalese sweets. Kevun, thalaguli, arsmi, kokis kaludodol?"
