"The room was subpar. It’s so old and badly maintained. I needed to change rooms twice and so did the rest of the 3 families that were travelling with us. Two rooms smelled bad, one room has its AC down. The buffet was awful. Very disappointed. Highly discouraged people staying here especially families."

"Rooms in the Regency wing smell strongly of mould and damp. Had half board so didnt eat outside hotel but got food poisoning from verandah buffet "

"Very clean Amazing, helpful staff. Great views of the city and the ocean. Breakfast buffet has many options but same items everyday. Rooms are not very soundproof. We heard our jet lagged, very loud guests nextdoor every night ,at 3am and 4am … Also nearby concerts every night with loud music which lasted until midnight ."

"Location ideal , so sad to see this hotel so run down and not maintained. Our room was dirty , towels dirty , bedding ripped and dirty , having complained they moved us to a different room but it was just as bad and just to add to it there was no hot water at all and when we asked them to fix it we got no response . We left the next day"

"This is an amazing hotel that has been lovingly furnished using local art and an eye for design and colour. It is not only comfortable, but also just a nice space to be in. I was upgraded to a suite at no extra cost, and the extra space and amenities was a real treat. I had my evening meal there. The food was delicious. The staff were all super friendly and helpful."
