"This hotel is a great place to stay in Colombo with easy access to major shopping areas. The breakfast buffet was excellent, so many choices w/ one of the best South Indian food. I would like to special thank to Roman and Anurudha from room service and Lasantha and Nilanka Janaka Kumara from the restaurant service. We loved the service and they did a great job! Thank you "

The hospitality is unrivaled and every guest experience memorable, from the Afternoon High Tea to the delicious buffet dinner which my well travelled son described as one of the best meals he has had. Emmanuel, the Head Concierge was extremely attentive to the needs of the guests, ensuring that their visit is both enjoyable and safe. Thank you Emmanuel!! "New property. Breakfast buffet is ok. Rooms are ok but some minor design faults were seen. Shower cubical has no door. Therefore water spill onto outside. Spend lot on high ceilings and blockout curtains but light still slip in to the room. "

"This hotel has an old worldly charm about it. The buffet at breakfast and dinner is incredible and the staff very pleasant. A lovely touch having someone play the piano in the evening. Would stay again when visiting Colombo. They organised a great 4 hour city tuk tuk tour too which was fantastic."

"We stay in Cinnamon Grand every time we visit SriLanka. We love the set up with the lobby and the rooms.The rooms are clean well maintained and comfortable. Staff from the lobby,managers ,staff who clean the rooms are all very friendly ,courteous and professional in their jobs.They make us feel at home every time we come . I have no reservations in recommending this hotel to any one planning to visit Colombo."

"Had a comfortable and luxurious stay here for our first three nights in Sri Lanka. Travelled in June which is off season / monsoonal however we barely saw any rain - sunbaked by the pool most days and was very relaxing to travel in the quiet season - at times had the whole pool and grounds to ourself. Buffet breakfast was incredible and had soooo many options. Grounds were beautifully maintained and the gym was perfect too"
