We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. We initially thought we wanted to stay directly on the beach but we were so happy we didn’t. It is just about a 15 minute walk away from the beach and you get to see so much more nature/natural beauty. The views from the restaurant are incredible and unparalleled by anywhere nearby, and we loved being able to see all of the birds, monkeys(2 different species and baby monkeys as well), and lizards from the property. The staff was so friendly and helpful too. If we didn’t live so far away we would vacation here all the time. Highly recommend.

What an incredible hotel. If you are staying in Mirissa this is the place to be. It is very good value for money considering the impeccable service, beautiful interiors and stunning 360 views. We loved the beautiful views for breakfast and the lift up to the hotel is a fun touch! Would highly recommend this to anyone for a memorable and comfortable stay. Also very convenient for all of the beaches

Room was nice, staff was excellent, so friendly. The owner even stopped by to chat with us at breakfast. We ate dinner here also. The food was great. There were a lot of stairs up to the hotel, which we decided to take instead of the lift because we loved the exercise. It was like a Stairmaster to our rooms. We were within 5 minutes of a nice, clean beach. Easy walkability, eco-friendly, we'd stay here again and recommend it.

Very nice staff and clean rooms as well as all amenities. Nice location with a great view though you have to keep in mind that from the street you will have to take a very nice but quit slow kind of funicular through their absolutely stunningky beautiful "vertical" garden. You can entertain yourself by watching the many monkeys in the area but dont leave any belongings on the balcony as the monkeys might take it. It adds fun and a bit of adventure to your stay. Reception and overall staff are exeptional. Both pools and other amenities are very well kept and clean. Highly recommend staying there if you like comfort, view and cleanliness. Will come again

Really nice hotel. Pools are excellent and now have a fully functional elevator to take you to and from the property. Definitely worth a visit.

The hotel was amazing, the staff very attentive. The local wildlife will keep you entertained and the views from the restaurant/roof top bar are amazing along with a roof top pool! The breakfast where amazing, lots of variety, from western to sri Lankan. The lunch menu/Al carte was ok portion size good. However the one fault that I personally would say even though the menu was exactly the same for the evening menu (al carte) the portion size shrunk. Would I stay here again, absolutely!

Spacious rooms and lovely staff, however our room had bugs, a cockroah and didn’t feel like it was to the standard other hotels are giving at that price. It’s up a hill, which is quite a walk or you can take the elevator, which is very slow. However the staff were very good and extremely helpful.

The amenities at Coastline Mirissa are amazing, our room was spacious, clean and had everything you could want for your stay. Both pool areas are a lovely place to relax, we also loved the badminton court and pool table! The reception staff were lovely and we really appreciated the provision of beach towels and filtered water in the room. Our stay was unfortunately tainted by the lack of vegan options for my partner at breakfast, despite the menu clearly stating these were available. Not only was the dish he was presented with really unappetising (an onion salad, half a tomato, some cucumber and a small pile of mushrooms) but the staff’s attitude towards catering for this dietary request was disappointing. They had no milk alternatives either. They made us rather uncomfortable and made it seem like it was a big challenge, when every other hotel or homestay we’ve been at have provided an amazing service for him. To note, the normal breakfast service wasn’t particularly inspiring either, we ended up eating out at a nearby brunch spot instead. It was also rather intrusive to be asked by the cleaning staff every time we left our room, if we were checking out or if we were leaving the next day - surely this information is kept at reception and guests shouldn’t have to provide it constantly? This might be a reflection of the short time the hotel has been open, but at this point I wouldn’t recommend staying there if you have any dietary requirements.

PLEASE DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL.

PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE. The most awful hotel experience I’ve ever had. 1. There are over 150 very steep steps to climb every time you want to go in and out of the hotel. They are not lit and extremely dangerous 2. Our room did not get cleaned until 6 or 7pm and we had to chase three times 3. Hot water runs out frequently 4. Food is below average 5. So many staff everywhere and very little service Nothing about this hotel is 5* it’s an awful experience, don’t put yourself through it

L’hôtel est très bien situé. Il est proche de la mer & le centre ville. Il est au calme perché en haut d’une très belle colline avec un paysage magnifique. Les chambres sont grandes & prraiques
