"Vik I Myrdal is a small community, with a fair amount of options for lodging. It's location along the Ring Road makes it a desirable location to spend the night. We spent two nights. "I arrived late and my pod had been given to someone else. No problem - a very helpful young man came by and set me up in a different pod. The place is in a spectacular location and the pods are super-comfortable, cozy, and warm. I would stay there again in an instant."

"Love that we booked this place for a night as we make our way around Iceland. Staff at the front desk was super nice, they have a laundry service for a fee but it’s convenient and they provide you a bag and depending on when you drop it off you could get it that evening or on your way to breakfast. The room was spotless and cozy, and we were pleasantly surprised to find a brand-new couch and flat-screen TV, both of which looked older in the photos, so the upgrade was a nice touch. One of our favorite things was that the hot tub was always open. Sitting in it at 2 a.m. with nothing but quiet around was such a relaxing experience. "The apartment was very spacious, seemed to be recently renovated. Very clean! Washer/dryer was a great plus! It’s located right in front of the supermarket, convenient for getting groceries and having a quiet evening inside. The two rooms are very spacious, plenty of space for a family with two kids.
