"It was tough to find a good hotel up here on our road trip, but Bodega Bay Lodge ended up being such a wonderful surprise. The view from the property is absolutely amazing — you can just sit and watch the bay for hours. The pool and hot tub overlooking the water were the perfect way to relax after driving, and the fire pits at night made it feel so cozy. The restaurant on site was excellent, with fresh seafood and a great wine list, so we didn’t even feel the need to go anywhere else for dinner. In the morning, we took a walk down to Bodega Beach, which was such a peaceful start to the day. The whole place has this mix of comfort, charm, and relaxation that made us wish we had planned to stay longer. We’d definitely come back on another trip — it’s the kind of place that makes you slow down and really enjoy the moment."

"This little gem is unassuming on the outside, but the rooms are beautiful and modern. We walked to restaurants both nights for dinner. The only downside is the road is quite dangerous to walk on where there are no sidewalks. "

"The grounds are impressive with your "backyard" overlooking the terrific California north coast, Ocean, and many rocks for the surf break on. Food service was really good and the food as well. We appreciated our server Spencer - who was most attentive to us. Great place to relax and look at the ocean."
