"Stayed for a quick transit night between Isle of Skye and an early airport trip. Unfortunately the night was rather warm and the hotel does not have air conditioning, so it was a bit warm. Luckily our room faced the back and the windows could be opened without too much noise intrusion (the hotel also supplied portable fans). The pool area was a bit run down, but the beds were relatively comfortable, storage was good and the shower pressure was decent. Fine for a short stay."

"Beautiful hotel in an extremely convenient location to the train station (Waverly) and to the main downtown area. Top floor check in and champagne bar was also very beautiful and it is a nice touch to get a free glass of champagne (or non-alc bev) when you check in, and there were a lot of free drinks and snacks in the room. Only downside is that in the evening, we had significant trouble with slow wifi that made it very difficult to stream movies/shows."

"one of the best hotel room, i have ever stayed. the lobby is nice, the room is huge and even nicer. they refill the water, but towards the end of our stay, they no longer refill the snack. otherwise the room is nice as per picture, bonus it is just 3 mins walk from the train station, so if your journey is late at night, this hotel is just close by to the train station and royal mile."
