"La amabilidad y la disposición para ayudar al cliente es lo más relevante. También, la ubicación a tres cuadras de la Plaza de Armas de Puno. Hay otro, el I, más cerca al lago. WiFi bueno. Pude utilizar la pc para mi trabajo, pero solo te imprimen gratis la tarjeta de embarque, no otros documentos. El desayuno compuesto del mate, pan, mantequilla, mermelada y huevitos revueltos. Colchón cómodo. Puedes pagar en efectivo o con tarjeta."

Union Hotel Cusco

"We had six nights at the Union Hotel Cusco and so were very grateful for a room that was really spacious, so we could fully unpack. The bedroom itself was really large but would benefit from additional storage: the wardrobe was fine for hanging items but there weren't any drawers so most of our stuff was out on the long table/desk area opposite the bed. The bathroom was clean, with a shower over the bath, but unfortunately there were problems with hot water availability. When we were up early for a 7am tour pickup, the water was hot; on two days where we were up later, the water was tepid at best, even after letting it run for 7 or 8 minutes as advised. We were told on the first occasion that it was being fixed, but I suspect this is more a capacity issue than anything else, and something the hotel really needs to address. We also found the wifi to be patchy; the connection would drop out regularly, sometimes reconnecting and working for a while but not really very reliable. Again, this needs to be addressed as at least for us, Claro coverage wasn't great either so we found ourselves struggling to connect. Breakfast was good, with really friendly and helpful staff. Perhaps there could be a little more choice at the buffet, but the omelettes were good and the waffles looked great. Finally, the location is really convenient for San Pedro market and station (both a 3 min walk down the hill) and an easy stroll to Plaza San Francisco and Plaza Mayor (about 5-10 mins' walk)."

"Hotel Cusco La Paccha, was truly one of the best hotel experiences my family and I have ever had. It was absolutely worth every penny, and our experience here is one of the reasons we already plan to return next year. The staff was top notch, kind, professional, attentive, and extremely helpful. What impressed me the most was how they helped us when my dad unexpectedly needed medical attention. The hotel staff was able to arrange for a doctor to come directly to the hotel to evaluate him. He needed oxygen and medication, and they helped coordinate everything for us. Of course, the medical services were an additional cost, but we found the cost incredibly affordable, especially considering the level of care and convenience provided. As a family traveling away from home, having that kind of support meant so much to us. They also offer luggage storage, which was extremely helpful while we traveled to other towns before returning to Cusco. The hotel was very clean, the location was excellent, and the staff truly went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and cared for. For my family and me, our experience was simply amazing. I highly recommend Hotel Cusco La Paccha, and we will definitely be returning next year. Thank you to the entire staff for your kindness, hospitality, and for helping make our trip to Cusco so memorable. ❤️"

"Only stayed for 2 nights before our Salkantay trek. The rooms were quite small. We had reserved a room with 2 double beds to have extra space but got a room with only 1 double bed. It was great location and convenient to get to everywhere we wanted to go to in Cusco. Would have been nice to have a couple of bottles of water in the room but there is a small grocery store close by. Breakfast wasn’t great but we went both times a half hour before it ended so maybe it was better earlier on. When we left at 4:30am on the morning of our tour the hallway lights were off and we could barely find over way to the stairs/elevator. For a place were most tours are picking people up in the early mornings, they should have some sort of lighting in the hallways."

"El hotel es de maravilla todo lindo y limpio pero el ruido de los club es bastante molesto desde las 7pm hasta 6 am no deja a nadie dormir ! Tiene que hacer algo de eso. Deben de dejar una descripción de qué hay clubs cerca así uno puedo considerar si quedarse o no porque si hubiese sabido que eso iba pasar no hubiese rentado ahí . Uno no puede descansar de tanta ruido deberían considerar eso . Eso 3 días no durmimos nada."
