"We stayed in 3 hotels this trip and V had the most comfortable beds. The property is older and the rooms were fine. But all the furniture around the pool is very beat up. Torn, stained. Also the pool shown is one of two, it appears that only executive rooms open onto that pool. "

No breakfast, room coffee was bad. good shampoo/soap and the bed was comfortable. my only complaint was the front desk staff didn't want to answer my questions. It is a remote location a few miles from any coffee/breakfast....as the hotel did not offer breakfast."

"Hotel is very beautiful and unique. Vallet parking was great. Restaurant waiter was inappropriate at times, front desk people were not very friendly and welcoming. Over all it’s worth to stay here for the history of its building and pool/spa was wonderful."

"This was our 3rd or 4th year staying here for the tennis tournament. This year however was pretty different. In the past inwould give it a 5/5, easy. This year, they changed a few things. For one, there is no breakfast included anymore. They also now charge $25 per night. They also didnt have live music at all during the 4 nights we were there. Little things, but they add up. We love this property, location, views, etc. But these little changes were a bummer. "

"I was greatly disappointed by the terribly horrendous beds. When you lay on them you sink 6 inches making it difficult to climb out. They are more like hammocks with springs popping through. The comforter was torn terribly. Faucets were loose. And when they moved us to another room eventually...the room stank like airplane glue or toxic grouting. The staff was miserable and uncouth. I'd rather sleep in my car and the room was $425 a night plus parking. All in all you couldn't pay me to ever stay at a Renaissance hotel again. "
