We received a note the week before we went that there would be some disruption due to renovations but they would be cautious to keep it minimal. We still decided to stay, but when we arrived we were told there would be no breakfast available during our stay and that the pool was also closed. They said a note had been sent about the breakfast being unavailable (we did not receive a note), and nothing was done about the pool closure (it was over 100 degrees during our trip). Those were 2 main reasons we chose the hotel, and there were no alternate accommodations made for either (maybe a coupon for coffee downtown, or a reciprocal pool usage at another hotel), which might have savaged our stay. To top off - construction banging began by 8am.

Area around the hotel not safe. I was told that I could park my car in EV parking spot only to come out this morning with a big green sticker on my drivers windows. It was a warning sticker but now I have white sticker residue on my window through no fault of my own.

The pool was under construction without any notification. We came to watch a soccer game and was counting on the pool to entertain my kids after ward. The person at the front desk who i fist spoke gave me the news without any apology a d was also very short and dry. He also send me away for at least 30min because his computer was down. Ohh well. Lucky when we got back the genteman was a lot friendly and checked us in with a bunch of apologies.

It was convenient, near alot of food options arpund the area andd nightlife is walking distance. Didnt like the construction around hotel but was noified during booking and option to cancel reservation. Didnt like that there wasnt alot of room service food options menu was very limited.

The previous time I stayed was after Covid and I was very disappointed. I mentioned this at check-in and was very pleasantly moved into a recently remodeled suite. The check in team was on the ball. Definitely insist on a remodeled room and you'll be happy.

This hotel was listed as a 3-star property. It looked like something straight out of Forensic Files. There is no way I would ever stay here again. I was shocked by the condition of the room. It was not only uncomfortable, but it was dilapidated, it smelled bad, and there were noises of critters coming from the walls. The couch and walls had holes, the sink did not drain, and the bedding was sparse and scratchy. I was shocked and disappointed that this establishment charged almost $300/night considered the state it is in. It's under construction, and the communication between management and employees is awful, to boot. The only positive worth noting is the location was convenient.
