"I like the forested surroundings and the accessibility to the sandy beautiful beach. We were on the first floor and unfortunately we could hear the guests above us walking on the floor and moving the kitchen chairs. Also, it was quite loud when the cleaning staff were cleaning the unit above us. "

"Property location, lots to do on property. Lack of AC could have been a problem when it gets real hot out. Balcony was a bit small and the neighbor could view directly in the room if they wanted to. Dark out drapes on main window would be a nice addition."

"Staff were very accommodating. They supplied us with plates and cutlery so we could barbeque our own dinner. Nice area with fire pits. The shower in our room was terrible. There was a hot and a cold tap. You could not regulate the temperature. It was either scalding hot or cold. It was just enough room to stand in. You couldn’t even get away from the water when it was scorching hot. Walkable distance to ocean which was nice. "

"We were welcomed as we arrived. The room was lovely but the best part of our stay was the delicious complimentary breakfast served each morning. What a thoughtful thing to do. The convenience of it was especially appreciated by seniors with mobility issues. "

"The hotel has a great location for people attending conferences at VICC or even if you want to spend some time exploring the city. It is close to the marina and B.C. Ferries docks. The restaurants in and around the hotel are quite good. The hotel itself is in average condition my room was clean and had some upgrades but the bathrooms are small and the fan drove us crazy as the motor was failing. It’s dog friendly just make sure you inform them ahead of time to ensure they have a pet room"

"Fun property for families. Rooms need some updating (beds hard as the floor) and bathroom a little old and not terribly clean. Great spot to explore this part of the island. "
