"Staff were super friendly and helpful, easy to check in, parking was a breeze with paid parking at the hotel, 20 mins walking to honesuckle and theatre etc, new, clean, great selection buffet breakfast, room was clean, new facilities, loved that you got two pillows, one firm and one soft to choose from, mattress was nice and not warn out and lumpy, black out blinds. Lately every hotel I have stayed in has had noisy air conditioners, this one did not, so slept lovely! Definitely coming back."

"Stayed for 2 nights and had a lovely stay. The room was very clean and newly renovated. Very friendly staff, great location! One thing to note.. the room I was staying in was facing the main road so there were traffic/tram noises throughout the day and night.. however the noise isn’t as loud once the balcony door is shut."

"Quiet hotel and lovely staff. Comfy bed in large room with lounge and table with a large TV. Night club next door but very faint doof doof on weekends. Close to shops, Maccas, woolies, Dan Murphys, officeworks & KFC. public transport within walking distance."

"We enjoyed our stay at Oaks Lure so much we extended! It's a fantastic property in a great, convenient and quiet location. The rooms are well equipped, clean and very comfortable. The staff are outstanding with a special call out for Carole and Matt at reception. They've made our stay hassle free and are friendly every time we speak with them. Highly recommend Oaks Lure when you're staying in Nelson Bay."
