"The property was fine. What I did not appreciate is due to the corona virus I was stranded, my family paid for the hotel and the hotel did not want to take the deposit cash or via credit card from them I had to call a friend that lives in Ottawa to come to the hotel with his credit card. That was not good.....We paid online for hotel it was just terrible."

"It is a historic hotel and the refinished rooms are likely about the same size as they were historically, so they are small by today's standards. The only seat in the room was a round padded "seat" without a backrest, so the only place to read or watch the TV would be in the bed. It would have been nice to have a nice living room type chair in the corner with a lamp to read or watch the TV (there is space enough to include). In the bath area, there was some caulking done around the bath area...
