"Nice hotel, location is about 3-4 minutes outside Akureyri but you get a great view of the city and the mountain that inspired the logo, from the parking lot at least. The rooms are clean with about average space and comfortable beds and good blackout curtains. Breakfast is NOT included with the room rate and must be purchased beforehand, but the dining room has a microwave, fridge, and sink open to guests. Self check-in, and we didn't see any staff on site on our one-night stay but you are given contact info. Great great amenity is the warming closet, included in the room rate and lets you dry your clothes overnight! Awesome for us since it rained the entire week we were in the country. Overall nice place and worth the price."
