"This is a nice property! Very clean and quiet. We stayed in the guesthouse that was down the road from the property. It has a spacious kitchen, dining and living room which is nice. "This was the old schoolhouse in town. The new school facilities are right next to it. The school seems to be a center for the towns activities… I enjoyed seeing the kids and observing a different culture. You are within walking distance to town and restaurants. I recommend Saltka. We had the second floor unit. Very spacious and clean. Comfortable beds. Also nice to use the complimentary washer and dryer. "

"It was amazing! If you love the solitude that‘s the place to stay. We had a clear night without any wind and the sky was full of northern lights. And the best part, no other people around (well, except the hosts, horses, chicken and ducks from the lake in front of our little cottage). Only 20 min away from Godafoss, or 25 min away from Húsavík. Definitely recommend this one! The host was very nice and welcomed us warmly. "

"This was our favorite place that we stayed in Iceland. Private hot tub overlooking a beautiful vista. Very comfortable and modern. It was compact, but very nicely appointed. The northern lights alluded us, but this would be a great place to see them. Less than a ten minute easy drive into town. "

"The guesthouse is right across from Godfoss which makes it a very convenient place to stay and see the waterfall without really have to go out of your way. The rooms were clean and nice. There is no television in the rooms, but free wifi that was reliable. The workers at the house were very accommodating and breakfast was good. There is also a very friendly cat that waits at the guesthouse entry to greet the people during check-in."
