"Lovely old hotel.kept perfect, single room I was in was spotless,great shower + all extras not wanting for anything.lovely breakfast in an amazing dining area.great bar area with amazing seating.10/10 for my 4 night stay.would recommend to anyone who wants a peaceful elegant place to stay.I will definitely be back.thank you old swan.."

"I highly recommend this hotel and always stay here when in Scarborough. I always pay extra for the sea view and it is well worth it. Breakfast is great and it is an easy walk down the High Street from the station. Buses are excellent all around the area, eg. Bridlington, Filey, Whitby, Robin Hoods ay, etc. I love the seafront walks. Thank you to all staff."

"Efficient and friendly check in. Staff very courteous and helpful. Our room was a little tired and old fashioned but clean and comfortable. Bathroom facilities very good. Breakfast buffet food was not particularly hot. I suspect the food server heater was inadequate. Evening meal was excellent, again lovely staff and very reasonable prices. The pool and spa is really superb and well worth using. It's the biggest jacuzzi we've ever seen! Overall a very pleasurable stay. "

"The room wasn't quite how we expected based on the picture provided at point of booking, but was ok. The bed was on the former side but reasonably comfortable, as we're the pillows. The spa facilities were excellent and and well maintained. Breakfast was also excellent and staff were well presented (if a little inexperienced, save for the Maitre D). Staff providing room service was very polite & delivered our room service exactly on the time requested. Overall, quite possibly our favourite UK hotel so far."
