"Very unique place. The location and view were perfect. The 4 flights of stairs were brutal. They have a plumbing issue going on and there was a very bad smell coming from the drains. We covered the drains with towels to dampen the stench. My wife and I had the main bedroom and daughter had the loft bedroom which was nice. A 5 minute walk to Rembrandt square were all the restaurants and bars are located and tram stop."

"Lovely hotel and our second time visiting, the only thing we weren’t keen on was the new self check in service, it just felt quite impersonal! We preferred it when there was a proper reception. Other than that, more food options where reception is would be handy as there aren’t too many places local. Nice hotel but these are just personal preferences. Staff helpful when they were there."

"We arrived by train from the airport. Hotel was close by and handy for walking to many nearby attractions."

"We didn’t know where the room was located when we booked it. In our case, it was front and center of the “not hotel” (literally the first door to the left when you walk in the lobby) ( I recommend avoiding room 8). We shared a bathroom with anyone even remotely in the location. We had to make sure we were covered anytime before opening the door to the front lobby just to use the bathroom."

"Arrived at the Usual for another few days as the family live very close by and this hotel is very convenient but the room was extremely cold. The outside temperature was 16 degrees and the air conditioning was on in my room and the fan was blowing out very cold air. Hardly the weather for air conditioning to be on. I spoke to reception and was told that the temperature was set the same for all the rooms and she would turn off the fan. However the room the next day the room was too cold. I am 83...

"Convenient Short over night AirPort hotel. IT has free bus Shuttle to and fro AirPort and breakfast and other meals available. Also nearby is the bus terminal for buses into Amsterdam city"

"Great stay. Train station right underneath the hotel but was super quiet. Small room but so close to everything. Would stay here again."

"Lovely, clean hotel with good amenities and helpful staff in a great location. It has a nice common area if you are travelling with friends. Close to the main museum campus and to good transport links."

"Overall good stay. The sink in the bathroom did.not drain well and filled up quickly. I thought the restaurnat closed at 23:00, but when I went there at 22:30 they told me that kit hen closes at 22:00."

"We stayed in a 4 person family room and were so surprised it had a balcony view of the street. The staff was helpful, the rooms were well kept, and the location was great. Bathroom was much larger than other European hotels. Would definitely stay here again!"

"We stayed here for 4 nights, primarily choosing it for its fantastic location. It is within easy walking distance to the Amsterdam train station and served as a perfect starting point for our scheduled countryside tour. Our room was clean and spacious, and we really enjoyed the complimentary mid-afternoon tea and Stroopwafels—a lovely, welcoming touch. However, there were a few areas that could be improved. The check-in process took significantly longer than expected, and the front desk staff...

"Hôtel bien situé.. près de la gare 10 minutes à pied.. beaucoup de resto autour.. près des centres d’intérêts..tout se fait à pied.. chambre petite mais confortable.. nous avons adoré notre chambre vue sur le canal..115.. fenêtre ouverte on se sent comme sur une terrasse.. le canal, la gare.. vue magnifique..café instant dans la chambre ou café machine à la réception.."
