"Heerlijk vrij in eigen accomodatie. Op loopafstand van de koog, waar je heerlijk eten kunt en terrassen. Strand ook op loopafstand. Kortom voor mij een geweldige plek."

"Hotel Bij Jef is zeer prettig om te verblijven. Personeel is zeer vriendelijk en weet waar ze over praten. Het eten is een echte aanrader! Het is een feestje in je mond. Een echte smaaksensatie. En zeker niet te weinig! Enige minpuntje was het douchen, bij ons liep het water naar het slaapgedeelte. En dat lag niet aan de manier van douchen maar aan de afwatering."

"Mooi ruim vrijstaand huis, erg leuk ingericht met alle voorzieningen. Fijn met 2 badkamers. Prachtige locatie, een aanrader. Hadden alleen een huisje 604 met heel weinig zon, was vrij donker in huis vanwege de bomen, maar wel lekker als het erg warm is. "

"The hotel is tucked away in Bergen, which is a very beautiful little high-end village near Alkmaar, The Netherlands. We stayed only for one night -- 17 hours to be precise -- as part of a larger group gathering. The group dinner was held at the hotel, and it was outstanding and highly recommended. Staff are nice. We had booked a room for two persons. Our room clean and with two windows overlooking a beautiful courtyard, but it was rather small -- about two feet on one side of a queen-size bed and a three-feet-band passage on the other sides -- with rather minimalistic furnishings and space. We had no room and place to put our luggage or unpack the immediate necessities. If we stay there again, we will definitely urge for a larger room. "
