"I booked a deluxe room through Expedia, but the amenities did not match the description of what I paid for. When I went to the front desk, they were very polite but not accommodating. So we get To the room, it is a small room, that looks like it hasn't been dusted in months. Went to fill the Ice container it had dust so thick I actually had to wash it with soap and water and really wipe it down. Then we had to go on a scavenger hunt for ice. We were on the 1st floor we had to stop at each level...

"This is our 2nd stay at The Cheshire and it might be our last. The carpeting probably hasn’t been cleaned in around 10-20 years. Ok, that might be too harsh but the musty smell in the hallways and also in the rooms is more than likely due to the dirty carpets. The entire place just needs a total, thorough cleaning and some maintenance on the building. The bedframe is terrible in the rooms!! I slammed my toes and knees several times. Tip: wrap bed frame corners with pillows and/or blankets....
