"The room was comfortable and the parking was great.
However, if a property advises that it has a pool, then the pool must be available at least some of the time. Because the property also acted as a health club for locals, the pool was never available for us.
The pool has a limit of 4 people at one time, which is utterly ridiculous and not in line with pools at other hotels we stayed at locally. Also, there was no signage about this, and we weren't told about this verbally, so we only found...

"The room was exactly as advertised, we had a water view, the hotel is located right on the wharf where you could walk around and look over the water. There are binoculars mounted on posts on the wharf so you can get a closer look at anything that catches your interest, free. It is within walking distance of a lot of great restaurants and shopping. I highly recommend this hotel!"

"Clean room and great staff. Only down fall was that we went no in season. In door pool cold and door kept getting stuck and hard to open. Otherwise great stay and clean. Great ocean view. "

"There were issues with the cleanliness of the first room. The room smelled like cigarette smoke even when there were no smoking signs everywhere. The second room was cleaner but there were still stains on the towels.
The staff was friendly. The breakfast was a waffle maker and storebought muffins with cereal and coffee. They also charge for parking. Has potential to be a charming place, but need some work and a thorough cleaning. I probably will not be returning."

"The Blue Water Resort is right on the beach in South Yarmouth, MA. It is located near many of Cape Cod’s most enjoyable attractions. The Blue Water staff was friendly help and they really went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The place has a restaurant and a bar and there are lots of other wonderful restaurants nearby. Our room was clean and had one of the best showers I’ve ever experienced in a hotel. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and we’ll return to the Blue Water soon!"
