"The hotel is a lot better looking than the pictures suggest. It’s also in a nice and relatively clean area with shops that aren’t charging you tourist prices and the hotel room with the Nile view is a lot better if you can get them!"

"This was my second stay, and we had a fantastic time. I thought I had booked a larger room, and was a bit disappointed when I arrived. Spoke with the manager and he was kind enough to take time out of his day to accommodate us and get us upgraded to a much larger room (for a fare difference). Everyone is always super helpful and nice to guests. This is somewhere that everyone should get to enjoy if and when they find themselves in southern Egypt. Especially families!"

"Fantastisches Hotel - eine Oase mitten in Luxor Waren bereits zum zweiten Mal hier und werden such das nächste Mal wieder hier übernachten. Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal - super Restaurants im Hotel aber auch in direkter Umgebung an der Corniche. Die Bar im Hotel und die Bar draußen oberhalb der Corniche sind traumhaft schön. Unsere Zimmer gingen nach hinten zum Garten raus und waren schön ruhig und riesig. "

"Staff and security were very welcoming.Check in was quick and very informative about activities and all the amenities they offer.Room was very comfortable with a mini fridge which allowed us to stay in and eat in after being outside in the Luxor heat.Swimming pool was so relaxing with nice view of Nile river and mountains in distance.Continental breakfast with fresh pastries,omelettes,and fruit was the perfect start to the day.Would definitely recommend and would stay again.Also very close to...

"This was a magnificent hotel. Tucked out of the way in the quiet rural part of the West Bank. The staff were super sweet and attentive and nothing was too much to ask. The room was gorgeous with heaps of character, you felt every bit of furniture had a story to tell. The food was the best we ate on our 2 week trip of Egypt, high quality and classy yet not ridiculously expensive. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone!"

"We had a most splendid time at Djorff Palace. From the minute we arrived with the hotel’s river boat, we felt transported back in time. To a time where the dull uniformity of big corporate hotels did not exist. "This cruise exceeded my expectations. Spacious cabins, wonderful sundeck, excellent food, smooth cruising, small capacity relative to other boats and service oriented staff made for a very enjoyable time. At first I was going to book my own guides, but opted instead to book the cruise's siteseeing package. Glad I did, Hamad our guide was outstanding and there can be delays in the cruise do to timing in the river locks which could make coordination with outside guides difficult and stressful. ...
