"Clean rooms friendly staff"

"They had a box breakfast. You marked what you want on a ballet and what time you wanted it delivered. After the first day of not very good items, we opted to go to Denny’s down the street. It was much better. They should give guests credit if you do not take the lousy breakfast box. No place to eat, just in your room."

"Was startled 2 nights in a row by fire alarms going off. I didn't rest well because of this. Good location though. It was a decent hotel, but I've gotten far better value for cost elsewhere. The A/C kept resetting to 68, after I set it higher several times. Woke up freezing a few times and the unit is really loud. I likely would not stay here again."

"Location was good, property is dated, but the room was clean. Just one night. Front desk assistant was very nice and helpful. The owners might think about updating the main lobby, and better hallway lighting. The units across the parking lot are a bit shady, but we had no problems. Our room overlooked the back side of the complex, and it was rough to say the least. Don't expect the Four Seasons and you'll do ok. By the way, if I owned the place first thing I would do is remove the hot tub area....

"Really nice staff member greated us! She was a temp front desk host. Room was nice, clean. But the bath area was a bit unusual. Bed was super comfy. All things considered for the price per night was decent. However I'm still not sure I would book again. The whole concept of help yourself is strange, when So many people need work these days."

"Surprised that many sites label this hotel as a 2 star. This hotel is locally owned, not a chain. It looks older on the outside but has been updated to look very nice on the inside. Couldn't ask for a better view of the bay, beach, sunsets, etc. The restaurant is very good! Lots of locals eat there and they have all kinds of food! The ambiance in the restaurant is quaint and doesn't look like hotel restaurant al all! Rooms have fridge, microwave, & coffee maker. Not within walking distance to...

"We had reserved a bay view room. The view was amazing. It was also in a quieter area of Traverse City. We had issues with our refrigerator while there and they changed out the unit for us. I really appreciated the daily room service. I wasn't expecting that. I would absolutely stay here again!"
