"Best place for solo female traveller to stay if u wanna go around gion-uji-biwa area. It’s located infront of main road and it’s easy to spot the hotel. It’s also easy to bring your luggage from sanjo station. The room space is spacious and i really wanted to extend my stay for one day but i have other plans."

"Very friendly staff. The hotel is in a very convenient location , basically just in the Kyoto station, so it's easy to go everywhere in the city through trains, or buses. The rooms are spacious for my stay and the room amenities are superb. You can see the Kyoto tower through your window at night, such a beautiful view. The dining is very good, a variety of tasty food. Like it here, definitely will stay in the future. I would recommend this hotel."

"I love the Monday aprt chain! This was the second one on our Japan trip. Love the amenities. Love the service of the staff. Absolutely helpful with receiving and holding our bags, as well as the linked service for sending our bags forward. And the washing machine in the room was a huge selling point for traveling with our family. Very close to the metro station and konbinis very close as well to this location "
