"This hotel is amaaaaaazing! Its so nice and clean and is situated in a very nice part of town close to the Kyoto station. Also, you have to take your shoes off at the door and you can walk in your socks or barefoot on the soft (i think tatami) floor which super comfy."

The hotel is inside the Kyoto Station so coming in on Shinkansen from Tokyo and day trips to Nara and Arashiyama could not have been more convenient.
