"Desa Potato Head is a rare exception to the feeling that every holiday could have been better. Our 13-night stay was truly exceptional, and we are incredibly grateful to the entire team for their warmth, hospitality and genuine care. Thanks to everyone who consistently went above and beyond for us, at Sunset Park, Ijen and Beach club on a daily basis (we can’t name you as aren’t allowed). Getting to know you and sharing moments together made seeing you each day feel like visiting friends. You helped make our stay unforgettable. The architecture, music, food—especially breakfast and the Indonesian restaurant—and atmosphere are unlike anything we have experienced elsewhere. We loved the balance between the beach club and resort, allowing us to enjoy the energy or retreat and relax. A special mention to Fysh, from our arrival, your warmth and genuine welcome made us feel at home. Your humour and top-tier banter made us, as Brits, feel especially comfortable. Your thoughtful touches and personal approach made us feel genuinely valued. To Potato Head Management and Ronald, she is one of a kind and integral to what makes Potato Head so special. She doesn’t simply keep the magic alive - she makes it thrive. This was unquestionably a 10/10 experience. We will absolutely return and now consider ourselves part of the “Potato Head Family”. "★★★★★ I had a wonderful stay at Solterra Seminyak and would absolutely stay here again. The hotel is beautiful, comfortable, relaxing, and in a great location, but what really made my experience special was the people. The entire staff was incredibly warm, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. The restaurant team was always friendly and attentive, and the front desk staff went above and beyond whenever I needed assistance. A very special thank you to Nikken at the front desk, who was exceptionally helpful, kind, and accommodating. Nikken really made me feel taken care of and is a great example of the outstanding hospitality I experienced at Solterra. Excellent rooms, wonderful amenities, fantastic service, and genuinely caring staff. Five stars all around. Highly recommended, and I will definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Bali!"

"The room was large and spacious and housekeeping great but the staircase up to room was pretty rickety and no lift access. Some of the pool areas and common areas were a bit grimy and sewage smell by the garden pool. The sundeck pool was the nicest. It was well located on canguu but I wouldn’t rebook."

"My stay was pleasant, the gym and amenities were great and breakfast was lovely. However service on the 1st day wasn’t great (slow, got my drink order wrong then slow to bring another, ordered food, but it never arrived), but the other days it was good. All staff I encountered were polite, smiley and warm which is great. The room needs some love however, there was a slight smell of damp (I think it’s from the fabric headboard) which was off-putting and small things were needed, like the bathroom needs a deep clean and regrouting. I also had no hot water for the first two days. I would say again, but hope there’s more focus on maintenance in the rooms."

"The staff were friendly helpful the hotel is quiet considering it’s opposite a pub. The rooms were big and clean, there were afew large ants in bathroom every night and even in the toilet. The pool was Not big but enough to keep u cool the decking was very rough ave breaking on the ends and sharp, this definitely needs to be redone . There is no toiletries not even soap to wash hands which is a necessity since Covid should be washing your hands lucky I bought my own dettol soap. The room is very light at night which makes it hard to sleep there was no light switch in room to turn off outside light had to keep ringing for them to turn off. Aside from that I thought the hotel was ok and sufficient for afew days."
