"The property was a pleasant surprise. There was evident construction at the time of this review, but it did not interfere with the experience. The staff was friendly, but do beware of the sales pitch right after checking in. It’s a little annoying after a long travel day. They have good perks, but I prefer to get to the vacation rather than listen to the pitch. They have ample pools and shoreline, water sports, and recreation. The food: The jerk hut, pier 8, Buccaneer’s Reef, Momo’s… the list...

"Plentiful variety of food choices. Reservations to the speciality restaurants were easy to obtain via the app. My room in building One was cleaned daily. The staff was always friendly. You feel truly welcomed. This was my second trip to this resort. My one and only complaint would be the entertainment was much better in 2024, but it was nice to see some familiar faces, shout outs to Scottie, Shinshin, Geegee and Tafari. "Was not notified that half the resort was closed. There was only 1 bar opened inside. 1 swim up bar, 1 walkup bar outside. We started in our rooms most of the day besides the excursion. Check in was not good we had to wait 1.5 to get in our room."

"Property was clean food and drinks was great. However we paid for s room with a King bed and was told none was available and a manager would contact us. Still waiting to hear back from a manager for some compensation if any. No one seems to be able to assist at the front desk that was very frustrating."

"Resort and staff were great, but the food is absolutely terrible. The only thing that kept us alive was the breakfast buffet and the BBQ jerk chicken on the beach, for lunch. We were lucky enough to snag reservations for dinner off the resort. Entertainment is…interesting. Seems like they cater to teens /children entertainment wise. Drinks are decent and resort is well maintained. Some staff members have an attitude but were helpful overall"

"The food at the buffet was consistently good, the rotation of the menu was great. The specialty restaurants were serviceable, the real start is the buffet. The entertainment staff were very courteous and fun, the support staff were friendly and very helpful. We loved the full strength drinks served up at the pool bar and the Aqua bar, I would definitely recommend this resort."
