"I booked an upgraded room with a sea view. it was spacious and clean and on the first floor. the only problem I had with the room was that the plug in the wash hand basin leaked badly. not only is this inconvenient for guests but is very bad for the environment, not to mention. the financial impact on the hotel owners. the piano bar was very good. the pianist was excellent the breakfasts were very good, the quality of the food was very good and the staff wherever helpful."

"Secure parking was very small & quickly filled up. We got a space on 2 days out of 4. There is a multi storey car park near by, but maximum height is 1.75M & my car is 1.9M tall!"

"The hotel is very dated, not very clean and not maintained very well. Stayed there because it was a Best Western, but it wasn't of the same quality of a Best Western Hotel. The elevators were reliable, front desk not very friendly. Glad I was able to store my luggage prior to checking in to another hotel nearby for the TT races."

"We had a two night stay at the Welbeck Hotel. Whilst the decor in the room appeared dated, it was very clean and bathrooms appeared to have been recently renovated. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend."

"Nice location, short walk to the seafront . the road outside the apartment has parking restrictions from 8am-6pm. but this did not cause us any problems. Tesco is nearby for all the essentials and most bars and resturants about 10 min away."

"Old style hotel. I had a great sea view. Bed comfortable and slept well. Room serviced each day. Breakfast included and was good and plenty enough. Good value for money. Lift was not working so had to lug my suitcase up to the 3rd floor."

"Well located hotel within five minutes walk of the ferry port. An old fashioned style B and B with seemingly new owners (Opul Group). Rooms are large but maybe a little in need of a refresh. Everything clean. Breakfast included which was surprisingly excellent. Buffet style but even catered for us as vegans which was amazingly welcome. Well located for the town centre, next door to wetherspoons which can be loud on a weekend, but no huge problem."

The complimentary soft drinks and snacks were a nice touch. Room was adequate for a 1 night stay, lovely bathroom & comfortable bed. Would return again and recommend to others"

"The Regency Hotel is a gem. It's a traditional, clean, well maintained hotel with friendly helpful staff and excellent facilities. We completely enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back again. Our room was large, clean, quiet and well equipped and we were very comfortable. Every one of the staff we saw were friendly, professional and helpful.
