"One of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommended! Everything was thoughtfully done and well maintained. The onsite onsen was beautiful, with both indoor and outdoor bathing areas. The traditional Japanese dinners and breakfasts were wonderful experiences, served in a private dining room and featuring multiple courses, including crab. "Tocen Goshoboh has been an amazing place to stay. We especially appreciated how uniquely (historical) technological elements are thoughtfully blended with the traditional Japanese atmosphere. The onsen was truly special, and the staff—particularly our nakai-san—were extremely helpful and welcoming. The food was outstanding throughout our stay. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience authentic ryokan culture."

"A good spot to stay in Kinosaki. The room itself was pretty outdated with an old tv - I really enjoy when hotel TV's have casting capabilities which this one did not. But the service and meals service was excellent, it's a self-serve buffet style dining which is great if you're a slightly fussy eater like myself.
A little disappointed that the room view was blocked by netting for maintenance, which Inwas advised prior to arrival but after booking. I think some form of discount would have been...
