"Excellent location for city centre shops. Hotel is nice and modern and well maintained. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was very clean and comfortable. Would use hotel again."

"From the start, we were greeted with a smile….we were given our room keys….the rooms were lovely and clean and comfortable.
We pre booked a table for an evening meal, the meal was utterly delicious.
The lady’s that dealt with us (Sarah and Eleaner) were so friendly…sorry I can’t remember the other two ladies, but they were so friendly also 👍👍.
The breakfast was awesome….so all in all a very relaxing stay.

"Lovely 2 night stay and just as we remembered from previous visits which were a few years ago. Comfortable room and bed with side sea view. Hotel lounge/bar area comfortable and staff were very helpful and pleasant. Restaurant food was excellent with good continental breakfast with healthy options, fresh fruit as well as cooked menu if desired. Evening meal was also excellent. Unfortunately didn’t get chance to use the spa or pool this time but it looked very pleasant. Thoroughly enjoyed our...

"Absolutely loved our weekend at the Dower House! Amazing location surrounded by nature, the building is so beautiful and our room was huge and had every comfort. All the things you don't find in chain hotels are here - four poster bed, comfy sofa, coffee table and chairs sat amongst a wonderful backdrop, dark and quiet at night for a great sleep. And not to forget the amazing and genuine owners, Tim and Rosemarie, and Teresa who served a great breakfast "
