We were bed and breakfast , the bed was very comfortable, the room was a decent size and the breakfast was very good. Although the room was clean the main window needs attention as putty is missing which makes it drafty and also it needs painting. The flat roof outside is an eyesore. "Newish hotel, very clean, staff very helpful. No access to rooftop terrace due to private event. Food good and reasonable price. Bedroom doors very heavy to open. Dogs accepted and allowed to fight and bark in the restaurant area."

"An excellent hotel in a great location. An hourly shuttle connects it to the sister hotel in the centre of Salcombe. Breakfast is good, if having to pay an extra £10 for a cooked one is slightly irritating. Gym and Spa are also good."

"Firstly, £15 a day for the privilege of parking at the hotel and it’s on a first come first serve basis, is more the norm now bits it’s appalling, if you go out your not guaranteed your spot once returned. Tv didn’t work until I asked twice for it to be sorted and the fridge didn’t work and didn’t get sorted. However, it’s a lovely new/clean and well designed hotel. Comfy bed, lovely on suite and a great location for Paignton and close by Torquay. Overall we would go again!"

"No phone in room. Fan faulty. One window opened slightly the other didn't. Asked for Seaview but declined. Restaurant menu doesn't attract the area e.g seafood. Unaccessible garden through basement. Party on Saturday meant the hotel users were barred without consent to the area. No safety in the sauna such as wear slippers."

"If you get it for the right price, it can be great value for money. I do believe it’s going to be converted to apartments so, the bar is not well stocked and nothings been refurbished for a long time! Breakfast was decent and we found the room comfortable. It’s also in a great location."

"Due to a wedding in the property, which we were not warned about (apparently Hotel can't contact Expedia customers), we got very little sleep. Some of the wedding guests decided to have their own party/social event between 2:30 AM - 5:30 AM meaning we got virtually no sleep. Rang reception to inform them of the noise at 3.45am. "Went for one night . Really friendly staff and good location . Room was Executive Double. Nice and spacious with chairs sofa and good view . Bed was clean and tidy . Just room was a little dated and worn in places."

"Inchecken ging moeizaam. We moesten borg betalen terwijl de kamer vooraf betaald was. De borg zou verrekend worden met het eten. Maar bleek niet mogelijk te zijn. Waardoor we dat direct moest betalen in de restaurant/bar. Kamer/badkamer was schoon en groot. Er was geen airconditioning wat jammer was gezien dat heel erg warm was. Er was een ventilator op de kamer die hopeloos was. Er was genoeg keuze voor ontbijt. Personnel was vriendelijk."
