"The room was very beautiful and clean. Staff was incredibly welcoming and kind, and helped us with our heavy luggage without hesitation. Within five minutes of our arrival, we were welcomed with fresh tea, and our room had complimentary cakes! "This is a great value for money budget hotel and was ideal for a one night stopover. The room is small, but has enough room to hang a few clothes, place a small bag and has a small desk and chair to work from. It was modern and clean with a comfy bed and TV. Unfortunately the screen cast feature wasn't working on the TV, but otherwise the USB charging points and several sockets were great.Air con was very effective on a warm night.

"We had a lovely stay at The Pig of Lead last week. The whole experience was great, from the warm welcome, the superbly comfortable room to the delicious breakfasts. It is a great base from which to explore the area, I can’t recommend it highly enough. "

"The hotel has has a recent upgrade and looks amazing. Set in beautiful grounds and walking distance stroll into town. Upon arrival we had a lovely welcome by staff and our room was lovely too. The stairs are beautiful and the facilities and areas around the ground floor of the hotel are really comfortable and relaxing to enjoy. Parking is only £5 for 24 hours and the staff are so friendly and helpful."

"The hotel is close to Derby Train Station and it’s an easy walk into Derby City Centre as well.
Only downside was the lift was out off order and it was my wife staying and she has health problems which made it a bit hard fir her to get to her room but apart from that she said she will use the Hitel again. "
