Horsley Fountain One of three fountains constructed bringing piped water to Horsley village in 1864, the water was pumped from the stream near Coxbench using a hydraulic ram. Donated by Rev Hervy Willmot Sitwell, this one is named Sophia after his wife. The fountain was restored in 1998.

Staff at breakfast were very attentive and friendly. They were also very efficient. Staff at dinner were good too. I particularly liked Beatrice. She is such a lovely young lady. The service was good.

Excellent facilities and very clean room. Very quiet. Only downside was radiators on full all night and could not be turned down/off so very hot.
