"What was unique was there was some paranormal activity. You can hear the carts all through the night and the room we stayed in 318 while sleeping our bed was thumping from under the bed felt like someone was kicking our backs. Knocking and running of little kids at 3am. Very adventurous and thrilling"

"What a lovely hotel! It’s beautiful inside the lobby and in the rooms. The staff are friendly and willing to help in any way. The location is in perfect proximity to everything. Parking was straight forward, and though there were a lot of people arriving and leaving at the same time they had a great system to get people in and out."

"My wife and I spent a number of nights here. The rooms aren't bad at all. However, there were some snags. Advertised is an in-house restaurant and bar. Well--- sort of. The restaurant is closed (at least) on Sundays and several mornings it was just closed for breakfast-- don't know why. And when they were open, they were out of a lot of ingredients, making about half the menu un-orderable. Made us wonder how fresh the other ingredients were. Advertised is a free shuttle downtown...

"We had good reviews from friends so we planned for the Holiday Inn express and it was perfect for what we needed close to all the squares and old Savannah and Wright on the trolley stop across the small little street so convenient and the staff was amazing. Always nice to have a warm breakfast and a place to drink coffee in the lobby as well as a cocktail if you like great location great people great service couldn’t ask for more."

"The staff were excellent, super friendly and helpful. The location is excellent for walking throughout the historic district. My only complaint, and Aloft is not the only chain that I’ve had this issue with, but the hard surface floors don’t appear to be cleaned with any regularity. Leave your shoes on in the room if you don’t want your socks to turn black. The friendly staff made up for that though. :)"

"Laundry facilities were excellent and affordable. Pool was nice. Carpet needs replaced in the room we had as it was bubbling up in places. The main stairwell was being refinished so it looks like some modernization is taking place. Breakfast was really good and different each day. Overall very enjoyable stay."

"this is a perfect meet in the middle hotel. not the best of the best but it’s definitely not a roach hotel. everything was pretty good and did its job for a one night stay. breakfast the next morning was pretty good and much better than expected"

The place looked a little outdated from the pictures, but the rooms and property were kept up and clean. The back balcony overlooking the pool was perfect for morning coffee and later evenings.
