"The location of this hotel is BEAUTIFUL, the views of the lake are stunning. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. The hotel itself can definitely use a few upgrades For 1 the Air conditioner is pretty terrible. It’s pretty much a fan, the room gets pretty warm during the day. At night it’s not terrible but the AC can use an upgrade for sure. Also the furniture and carpets/rugs need to be changed or cleaned thoroughly. Plenty of stains on the carpet and couches. "Increíble hotel, uno de los mejores o si no el mejor en el que me he hospedado, el personal demasiado amigable, no funcionaba el aire acondicionado de 2 habitaciones y nos ofrecieron cambiar de habitaciones, el desayuno increíble, hay tanto que elegir que te cuesta trabajo decidir, lo único malo, es que enfrente hay criadero de vacas y el olor cuando sales llega a ser un poco desagradable, pero adentro del hotel todo maravilloso, su piscina está increíble"

"This place was a true gem, gorgeous grounds and a stunning historical building with 12 foot ceilings and huge windows. The beds were comfortable and the bath very clean, we loved the tropical flowers and plants and enjoyed a fantastic Italian meal at the restaurant. The decor was tasteful and inviting. Everyone was very nice and helpful, we wish we could have stayed longer to explore Lugano but we had a train to catch in the morning. "

"We reported that our air conditioner was not working. The air conditioner in the adjoining room that we rented WAS working. The property manager tried to tell us that they don't turn on the air conditioning until June. We did not believe that statement for one minute. The hallways were cool. Our second room was cool. When we spoke to the front desk initially, they said someone would look at it. Noone ever did. Then the manager tries to give us a speech about how we are all helping the...

"Hotel ist schon relativ alt, aber gut gepflegt. Zimmer war ausreichend groß mit einer großen Schlafcouch. Negativ war, dass wir beim Checkin nicht gefragt wurden, ob wir eine Gästekarte (Ticino-Card) haben wollen. Wir hätten bei den Schifffahrten auf dem See damit viel Geld gespart. Die Entschuldigung beim Checkout war eher mäßig. Positiv war, dass wir am ersten Tag beim Frühstück Spiegeleier bekommen haben, obwohl das eigentlich nicht inkludiert war. Alles in allem also ein gemischtes Ergebnis."
