Tolles idyllisches Retreat am Lago Maggiore

Ein kleines Paradies in der italienischen Schweiz. Mit super freundlichem und zugewandten Personal, das alles möglich macht, sehr gutem Essen, eigenem Seezugang und netten Zimmern. Schöne Bar, tolles Sternerestaurant. Gerne immer wieder.

Grossartiges Ferienresort

Sehr schönes Hotelresort mit riesigem Park und direktem Seeanstoss. Wir haben selten so nettes, freundliches und motiviertes Personal erlebt. Fantastischer Service. Ausgezeichnete Küche, Halbpension lohnt sich sehr. Gut ausgestattetes Gym. Einziger Minuspunkt war unser Zimmer (221): das hat keinen 5* Standard. Recht klein, das Bad geradezu winzig, nur Badewanne mit Brause und Glaswand bis zur Hälfte der Wanne. Man musste sehr achtgeben, damit es keine Überschwemmungen gab….. Grosser Balkon, die Sitzgelegenheiten darauf könnten aber Kissen vertragen. Das Zimmer war ziemlich hellhörig. Sehr gut fanden wir die Mückengittertüre zum Balkon! Die Flure und Treppen im ganzen Hotel fanden wir ziemlich aus der Zeit gefallen - hat uns sehr an die 70er Jahre erinnert. Da wir ohne Auto unterwegs sind, war der Gratisshuttle in der Mercedes-Limousine sehr willkommen - toller Service! Insgesamt war es ein sehr schöner und angenehmer Aufenthalt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Erholung direkt am Lago Maggiore

Ein wunderschöner Ort um sich im grossen Garten oder am Privatstrand zu erholen. Mein Einzelzimmer mit grossem Balkon war zwar bereits etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber sehr sauber und gut gepflegt. Sehr aufmerksamer Zimmerservice, zweimal täglich, gratis Mineralwasser und Nespresso Kapseln (zweimal täglich nachgefüllt). Gutes Restaurant mit schöner Terasse, reichhaltiges Frühstücksbüffet. Keine versteckten Nebenkosten. Jederzeit wieder.

More than simply 5 stars

Just giving 5 stars to this hotel makes it disservice. It is one of very few places belonging to an exclusive ligue of incomparable, flawless retreats where everything is created and done to perfection, leaving blissful and lasting memories. Impeccable cleanliness and service, subdued and homely luxury contributing for complete relaxation; Truly great spa with various hydro-massage pools, saunas, steam bath, excellent gym; swimming pool. Fantastic grounds on the sunny side of the shore of Lago Maggiore, huge manicured park, own orchard with apple trees heavy with fruit. Great (Italian) food, a Michelin star restaurant, reservation necessary.
