"Great stay in downtown San Diego! The newly remodeled room was very comfortable, modern, and well-maintained. The hotel is within walking distance of the Gaslamp Quarter, making it easy to enjoy the restaurants, nightlife, and attractions downtown. The location is also excellent for exploring the rest of San Diego, with an easy drive to both La Jolla and the Pacific beaches. Overall, it was a very convenient and comfortable place to stay, and I would definitely stay here again."

"The Wyndham San Diego Bayside is very conveniently located and is right across from the bay. The hotel has decent amenities including a pool and fitness center. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room had a fantastic view of the bay and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is a bit dated and the water fountains weren’t working (marathon weekend!) and there were no charging stations/USB outlets in the rooms or common areas, which would have been nice. "The building is beautiful and remodeled with lots of interesting touches. However, this hotel is by no means family friendly. I was traveling with my 12 year old son. The lobby isn’t really a lobby but a neighboring restaurant that may or may not be open at advertised times. The pool is part of a rooftop bar that ‘allows’ hotel guests under 21 only from noon to 7. "Excellent day. The room was clean. The staff was very friendly. It was a great place to celebrate my birthday with the family. Breakfast at the restaurant facing the bay was great. Love the live music. Would definitely recommend and come again."
