Loved our stay at the chancellor in downtown SF! The staff were all so welcoming and accommodating! My family had an early flight but called ahead for an early check in and luckily the front desk had our rooms ready in less than an hr from when we arrived! Location is perfect walking distance to SF's main attraction as well as being across the street from a major shopping mall and close to local bars and restaurants. If you're looking for that classic hotel feel and amazing staff, look no further than the chancellor hotel!

We came to SF from Hawaii and planned our trip kind of last minute. I was did a lot of researching for places to stay. This was our first vacation without our kids in over 25 years. We were looking for something that was nice, safe, clean, walkable, affordable and comfortable and the chancellor met all the criteria. It was perfect! We had to check out of our air b n b by 12pm but check in wasn’t until 4pm. I called ahead and the front desk was so nice and told us to come in and see if any rooms were available and if not they could store our bags for us. We were so pleased to have a room available when we got here. The room was perfect. ! I would absolutely recommend the chancellor and will definitely visit again. It’s a perfect property. Mahalo!
