"Good hotel overall, good location, the breakfast buffet was phenomenal, the staff were very nice and helpful, the hotel was clean and bed was comfy. The room was a bit smaller than anticipated for the price paid and the add ons get expensive; I didn’t like the extra $25/hr for late checkout. Not sure if this hotel was good value for the money in the end."

"One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Spacious, comfortable room. Great breakfast. Had the best steak I’ve had in ages at Lamberts Restaurant. Terrific view over the city from the Eagles Nest, enjoyed with a cold beer. Five minute walk to get the ferry into the city (50 cents per trip), or a 15 minute stroll across the Kangaroo Point bridge. Staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful. Cannot recommend highly enough, and would stay again in an instant. "

"We were greeted by on-going renovation in the lobby during our stay in mid-Nov 2024. Nothing was mentioned in the websites. Room was an odd shape layout; maybe due to the building structure. Hence, the room wasn't as spacious as I had expected of a 41m sq room. Clean room. Slight stain in the bathroom. Housekeeping every 3 days."
