"Upon arrival, there was just a sign at the desk, which was unmanned, saying someone would be back after helping another customer. We waited a while for the gentleman to return. That's fine, he was helping someone. When he checked us in, we found out the elevator was broken...no big deal...but then we were put on the 3rd floor and needed to carry everything up the stairs. Again, not a huge deal, but the place was definitely not too full, so why not just offer people something on the first or even...

"The proximity to the airport was perfect. The staff were so nice and helpful with parking while we travel. Of course the bar is always nice!!"

"The room was clean and well maintained and check in was a breeze! Had a frustrating time trying to use the TV's (Roku kept forgetting the wifi) but the amenities more than made up for it! Plenty of areas to gather, cook and have a picnic, indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs, good breakfast and a beautiful location! Highly recommended! "

"Staff was great. Park and fly option is great. My only complaint is that the tv is mounted in a weird way so only one of us could see the screen from the bed. The bathroom hand soap is mounted on a wall so you have to shut the door to use the sink. It was pretty noisy in the hallways in early evening. Other than that it was a great stay."

"My husband and I were in Townsend for our grand daughter's wedding. We stayed at Laural Valley Mountain Retreat. We were on the second floor and had a great view. When I booked our room, I had no idea we would be walking up 21 steps to our room. SURPRISE!!!! These are thing you really need to know about when booking. My husband is 78 and I am 76 and have had total knee replacement in both knees. I was also wearing a heart monitor that weekend. Boy did I give it a workout. ...

"The breakfast was good and convenient. We had a room where the water from the shower drained out to the rest of the bathroom. So our bathroom floor stayed soaked. I understand that this was a handicapped accessible room but they too could have benefitted from a dry bathroom floor and some drawers to put clothes in. Not one drawer and only 3 hangers. Alex was wonderful and helpful, and parking was convenient."
