The room was superb. The staff was very friendly

The place is quiet and chill, there is a private beach. Facilities are well maintain. We are very happy with the stay.

The location is a bit far from town, no hawker stall or restaurant nearby the hotel. Beach are not so clean.

The hotel room is comfortable and the view in the morning is breathtaking. I stayed in a room facing the hills and the stadium. It's quiet and you'd hardly hear any movements. The sheets are pure cotton, clean and crisp.

best ever hotel to stay with family and children..

The place was breathtaking and coupled with the rustic beauty of its wooden villa, this place is my dream holiday. The excellent service provided by our Bangladeshi caretaker Saddam and his fellow friends made our stay so pleasant. You can shoot pic of the scenic beauty and charm whole day. We had a fun time at the BBQ pit with food v brought as our villa was facing the pool. We came back with nostalgic memories and many nice pic to share.

Checked in was very smooth, "Yaya" from the checked in counter was very helpful and she even call the room to check is everything ok. Breakfast spread was superb. The only setback was the pillow for my 4 nights stay, to soft, maybe hotel can invest for a better pillow, a bit firm should be nice.

Cleanliness, spacious & well maintained

Plenty of gorgeous historic boutique hotels in Georgetown but this one makes an enormous effort on service and, while not without some bumps, it shows. A few room quirks: surprisingly only 2 or 3 TV stations, with no English news. Yes, you are not here to watch TV but... AC is rather loud. The hotel is above Il Bacaro Italian restaurant--a very good place. Breakfast there (Il Bacaro, complimentary with hotel stay) offers many options, fresh and homemade.

You get what you expect from Marriott. At least I did. I was there for work hence it worked for me. Would I go back for leisure but I may also look at other options which is in the neighborhood for the price range. That said they delivered what a Marriott is expected to deliver.

Edison gives you a warm welcoming experience at their heritage home- high attention to detail of service from the team, tastefully designed clean rooms, open concept pantry with access to coffee/drinks/snacks through the day. It's fitted with modern finishing with a hint of Peranakan architecture. But the most memorable, is not about the architecture because you can find that plentiful around George Town. This hotel was a surprise on so many levels. Loved the people who worked there and the vibe. The rooms were spectacular .... Huge space, 2 bathrooms, outdoor space, lots of thought given to detail. The restaurant was extraordinary. Breakfast was a la carte and delicious. Coffee was excellent. Great attention to detail. We didn't want to leave.
