"Very nice room with good services. Due to aging of building, some wear and tear issue, e.g. water tap keep dripping water in our 2 nd night. We changed 2 kettles to get to one that can be used properly."

"We loved the location. Easy to get to everything. The staff were excellent you felt like a guest in every interaction. So glad we came here. Only criticism would be could have saucers for the cups in the room."

"The lifts from the car park take too much time and limited access for rooms having to swap to different lifts to get to your room. The rooms are ok, closer to 3 star. Unfortunately our walk in robe had a vomit smell that you could smell in the bedroom.. so that wasn’t a great thing..it’s definitely a very good location but that’s about it."

"Our stay was unfortunately overshadowed by a very unpleasant check-in experience. The front desk lady who checked us in never smiled once and appeared unhappy and unfriendly throughout the entire interaction. What made the experience even more uncomfortable was that her attitude seemed noticeably different when serving other Western guests. She was warm and welcoming to them, but cold and dismissive toward us as Asian guests. In addition, several reasonable requests were immediately rejected....

"Hands down one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Stayed in the deluxe king ocean and the view was incredible! The rooms were clean, the staff were nice and the amenities were so well maintained. Highly highly highly recommend if you are coming to the Gold Coast since it is right by the beach and walkable to a lot of places! Will come back for sure!"

"2-3 star hotel at best. The 5 star is misleading and somewhat false advertising. There is nothing 5 star about the hotel, rooms or experience. Curtains are NOT black out, rooms are NOT soundproofed. Cheap amenities, shower head is a basic handheld. You are provided 2 thin towels. Expect stains. The “king size” bed is the ol 2 single beds mushed together and NOT an actual king size bed. If you want late checkout expect to pay $50 per hour but then get woken by bangs on the door from housekeeping...
