"Always love coming here"

"The bedrooms are nice: spacious, good bed/bedding and sizeable bathrooms. The spa and changing rooms are poorly planned and tired. Need maintenance! Inadequate lockers, peeling paint, cramped surroundings. Club Lounge is great with a generous cocktail hour (enough food for dinner, should you feel so inclined) but an underwhelming "afternoon tea" (a scone, basically). Breakfast in the main restaurant was generous but the staff were overwhelmed. Small examples: no cutlery, no proactive coffee...

"Amazing hotel that displays the heritage and craftsmanship of the building whilst also offering a modern feel. The room was very spacious with a large window to the street below. The onsite restaurants such as The Palace where we had our included buffet breakfast each morning was amazing. The food selection was vast and of great quality. The waiters/waitresses were attentive and no job was made to feel too hard. Always asking if there was anything they could do. The hotel is perfectly...

"Check in staff were fantastic, very friendly and helpful. Hotel is undergoing some renovations, but well managed. Our room had a nice view over the beach and everything worked. Only comment is water pressure is low in the shower and basin."

"Our stay was unfortunately overshadowed by a very unpleasant check-in experience. The front desk lady who checked us in never smiled once and appeared unhappy and unfriendly throughout the entire interaction. What made the experience even more uncomfortable was that her attitude seemed noticeably different when serving other Western guests. She was warm and welcoming to them, but cold and dismissive toward us as Asian guests. In addition, several reasonable requests were immediately rejected....
