"Great location with a secure car park. The reception staff are very nice. Breakfast is good and the view from the restaurant on the Cite de Carcassonne is fantastic. Very small pool but nice to cool off and relax in after a long journey. Rooms are comfortable with air conditioning."

"We had a two night stay to visit the mediaeval town and found the location of the Cerise Carcassonne Sud excellent for this purpose. The carpark is very large and secure with gates closing from 9 pm. The old town is a 5 minute walk away - very do-able even in the 35 C heat. Our rooms (in block A) were very large, disabled friendly, if a little utilitarian with sparse oldish, basic furniture (no bedside tables). Air conditioning worked well, the king size bed was very comfortable and the shower...

"Hotel Montmorency is 4* and right opposite the Hotel Chateau which was 5* so they share the same facilities which made it a great stay. Fantastic location set back 200m from Carcassonne entrance Gorgeous pool area, a bit smaller than official photos suggest but still lovely Breakfast was amazing, an array of dishes served to you by a waitress, fruit, cheese, ham, pastries, croissants, white and brown rolls and option for boiled eggs and muesli. Lovely setting at front of hotel overlooking...

"Bel hôtel joliment décoré et la chambre était très bien pour la famille (2 pièces; l’une avec 2 lits simples l’autre avec un très grand lit). Le personnel a été très accueillant et serviable pendant notre séjour. L’hôtel est très bien situé. Il est facile de se rendre à pied à la cité médiévale en quelques minutes. Pour de bon marcheurs, il est aussi possible de se rendre à pied au Pont vieux où il y a une belle vue de la cité médiévale et au canal du midi. Le déjeuner (15 euros/personne)...

"The hotel's staff is amazing, but at dinner time, they would benefit from extra waiters. We waited way too long for our table to be served. However, everyone at the hotel is giving their best, and I give them five stars for their service. We miss them already and will be back! Merci!"
