"Lovely place, beautiful food and a really nice room and ambience. But what really made this place was the wonderful warm staff. The lady on arrival was really welcoming, the girl looking after us for food was very attentive and the gentleman who welcomed us at breakfast was delightful. "Exceptionally well decorated and beautiful home to explore the local area. Very welcoming on reception and everything you could need. Only minor gripe was the upstairs shower that was either boiling hot or freezing cold with no in between but sort that and this place is perfect. "

"Beautiful modern and spotless room. We arrived early and could check in earlier than we thought as the room was ready. Tom, the owner was so helpful and the hotel’s duty manager was attentive and nothing was too much trouble. "

"Really nice clean room and the staff were more than helpful and friendly however the food was unfortunately a disappointment with the rib eye steak being of poor quality, the onion rings being undercooked and the mushrooms being cold. The wait for food was also longer than expected. "

"We parked elsewhere... After a major let down from where we were ment to stay.. we found the grand and it was perfect for us ..clean and warm .. apart from bath not cleaned (I did it myself) everything was great ..we will be back ..."

"It is an excellent location, beautiful sea view rooms overlooking south bay, close to local amenities, there is a lift to take you down to the seafront and back again, only cost £2.50, I recommend it for the view. Rooms are serviced every day, great friendly staff, great restaurant and it’s dog friendly too, don’t take my word for it! Just go and enjoy 😊 "

"Huge car park. Access to load and unload car. Very dog friendly, beaut snacks for dogs in reception. Staff were lovely and friendly. Room 201 fabulous room, view was breath taking. Lovely toiletries in room. Bed was huge and so comfy. Meal was lovely, breakfast was very tasty. Loads of walks from hotel. We will definitely be back. Will be recommending to our friends and family "
