"Arrived well before check in time, but had no problem with parking my car in their car park (register ant reception). And my room was ready. Really helpful and friendly staff, lovely cooked breakfast, various options. Also had meal in the pub on the first night, lovely. Room fine. Well done all round."

"We had a lovely warm welcome on arrival and attentive service throughout our stay. Room was brilliant, lovely character and very warm and cosy. All amenities we needed for our stay. Wonderful choice of hot breakfast dishes which were cooked and presented to a high standard and accompanied by fruits, yogurt, nuts, seeds, toast, preserves etc etc. Thoroughly recommend this beautiful charming hotel and will definitely stay again when in the area. "Although I did not use the restaurant or bar, I did see the inside and it looked very homely and comfortable. The staff I met were very helpful and respectful. My room was very nice and the bed extremely comfortable. I would most definately recommend this hotel and I will be using it again when I am next in the area."

"As a solo female business traveller, I really appreciate when staff go out of their way, particularly in a busy restaurant. I felt totally comfortable at The Guinness Arms. The room was lovely, a little compact ( I enjoyed hearing the owl at night!) and had great facilities with a coffee machine but no kettle. Breakfast was a real highlight. EV charger worked and set me up with a full battery for the next day. "
