"Great location, big room. Free parking and area to warm food. Mattresses are really bad it was like sleeping on a water bed! Shower could be cleaner, small areas of black mold. And Kirkland coffee was not good. Would stay again if there was absolutely no other place to stay in this price range. This property which was built in 1949 could be stellar with just a few changes!"

"Hotel was exactly as described. Sweet touches like wine at 5 and cookies at 6, and the fire pit was on in the evenings without having to ask to have it turned in. Close walk to restaurants and Urth Cafe"

"We originally got a room with a bay view but did not have a bay view at all. We had a view of the ceiling with dirty, still water. We called the front desk to ask if any other rooms were available. We ended up paying more for a room in another building. We had to move all our items over ourselves. "

"Hotel is amazing Staff can be incredibly rude and stuck up. Especially the hostesses at the restaurant. I wasn’t going to say anything, but it’s mind blowing how rude they are. They need some serious training, being rude and standoffish is not the level I would expect from Pendry. Property and rooms are 11/10 Staff needs serious work. Be nice to people. That simple. Be helpful. Be accommodating. "

"Excellent hotel in a great location in one of the most beautiful locations in CA. Amenities were a plus; heated pool and hot tub, easy access to Heisler park and downtown Laguna. Upper rooms have a view of the ocean. Breakfast was great. Will come back again. "

"This property is uniquely located near the heart of downtown Laguna Beach close to restaurants and bars and on the sand. Excellent sunset views and very nice staff and the restaurants are excellent too."

"A terrible experience. Expedia and the hotel both charged me for a one night stay. I contacted the hotel when I returned home to let them know that we were double charged and they blew me off and told me to contact Expedia. I called Expedia and they called the hotel when I was on hold. The representative came back and said the hotel will be refunding us. They never refunded us and when I directly contacted the hotel again, they refused to refund me. One night stay and 2 hours of trying to figure this out. Expedia and this hotel are terrible."
